Khush Jeejeebhoy Award for Best Application of Clinical Nutrition Research Findings to Clinical Practice

The Khush Jeejeebhoy Award of the Canadian Nutrition Society/Société canadienne de nutrition (CNS-SCN) consists of a monetary award, presentation of a lecture at the plenary session of the CNS-SCN Annual Meeting, a plaque, two complimentary tickets to the Awards Banquet, one complimentary Annual Meeting registration, and travel and accommodation for the Annual Meeting.  Membership in the CNS-SCN is not a pre-requisite for this Award.  The Award is given in recognition of an extraordinary contribution in the application of nutrition research that extends clinical nutrition practice beyond the currently accepted boundaries, or that materially expands clinical nutrition practice within those boundaries.

In submitting nominations, details of the specific research conducted and its clinical application should be provided, along with the reasons for considering them to be particularly meritorious.  Biographical material, although not essential in the assessment of merit, is helpful.

Nominations may be made by anyone, including non-members of the Society.  A committee, appointed by the President and Awards Chair, will make the selection for the recipient of the Khush Jeejeebhoy Award.  Persons willing to serve on the selection committee may contact the Awards Chair.  The Award will be presented at the CNS-SCN Annual Meeting.
