Mohammed Moghadasian Award for Student Research in the Application of Nutrition in Cardiovascular Disease

The Mohammed Moghadasian Award of the Canadian Nutrition Society/Société canadienne de nutrition (CNS-SCN) consists of a monetary award and a plaque.  Both the candidate and his/her supervisor must be members in good standing of the CNS-SCN.  The Award is given for student research in the application of nutrition in the treatment and/or prevention of cardiovascular disease, and is presented to a full-time student specializing in some aspect of nutrition.

In submitting nominations, details of the specific work carried out should be provided, along with the reasons for considering them to be particularly meritorious.  Biographical material, although not essential in the assessment of merit, is helpful.

Nominations may be made only be made by members of the Society.  A committee, appointed by the President and Awards Chair, will make the selection for the recipient of the Mohammed Moghadasian Award.  Persons willing to serve on the selection committee may contact the Awards Chair.  The Award will be presented at the CNS-SCN Annual Meeting.
