Joanne Schweitzer Clinical Nutrition Research Abstract Award
The Joanne Schweitzer Award of the Canadian Nutrition Society/Société canadienne de nutrition (CNS-SCN) consists of a one complimentary registration to the CNS-SCN Annual Meeting, one complimentary ticket to the Awards Banquet, complimentary membership in the CNS-SCN for one year, and a plaque. The candidate must be a member in good standing of the CNS-SCN at the time of submission of the abstract for this Award. The Award is given for submission of a clinical research abstract by a dietitian, and selection will be based on the originality of the research, the quality of the findings and the clarity of the presentation.
In submitting nominations, details of the specific work carried out should be provided, along with the reasons for considering them to be particularly meritorious. Biographical material, although not essential in the assessment of merit, is helpful.
Nominations may be made only be made by members of the Society. A committee, appointed by the President and Awards Chair, will make the selection for the recipient of the Joanne Schweitzer Award. Persons willing to serve on the selection committee may contact the Awards Chair. The Award will be presented at the CNS-SCN Annual Meeting.
